Stability

We hit a milestone over the weekend with Ella coming home for a visit! She’s been away for a year now. It went really well! We had a few minor bumps – which we like now that we are all more skilled to work through them.

I brought her back to NC on Monday and that was smooth as well! 🎉

Now she will continue to work on self esteem issues and will continue to work on preparing to return home (no discharge date yet)!

I’m on a new medication and am finally getting some relief. It’s just a bandaid for now, but I’ll take it! I need another MRI in September of my brain and spine. There might be more leaks in my spine to patch. I’m approaching a year in October. It’s frustrating because I thought I might be farther along, but patience and trust in our providers seem to be universal themes in all of this.
