Stability

This feels like a milestone moment. My eyelid weight came out yesterday. 🎉 I had it in for 8 months. It was actually a lot bigger and heavier than I was expecting.

I was super nervous for the procedure because I was awake for it. It involved a numbing shot into my eyelid and then lots of tugging, pushing and stitching. He kept pushing on my eyeball which felt really weird! Here’s the evolution from last night.

Hopefully it won’t be a long recovery! He also did a Botox shot inside my cheek to help relax the buccinator muscle (who knew I’d learn so much about facial anatomy). It will hopefully help me have a more natural smile. 🤞🏻
